Facial Attendance

Facial-recognition clock-in with device keys and manpower dashboards.

Optional facial-recognition clock-in, enabled by the customer. Each kiosk device authenticates via its own API key. Enrolment records the employee's consent, which an administrator can withdraw (deleting the face template and photo). ANTE treats facial data as sensitive personal information. Customers are the personal information controllers and should complete a privacy impact assessment and establish a lawful basis before enabling facial attendance.

When an employee is enrolled, ANTE records their consent: the time, the version of the privacy notice shown and the kiosk device used. A customer administrator can withdraw consent, which deletes the face template and the enrolment photo (past scan records are kept as attendance records). Enrolments made before this feature show “consent not recorded”. The privacy contact and notice URL the customer configures are shown on the enrolment notice.

ANTE includes the facial-attendance kiosk app, the device API, and the manpower dashboard, so attendance data lands in payroll without a separate integration. No dedicated biometric hardware is supplied by ANTE.
