Data deletion

Last updated: 2026-05-18

This page explains how to revoke ANTE's access to data we hold on your behalf — whether that's data sourced from a connected Google service (Sign-In, Gmail, Drive, Calendar) or your full ANTE account and workspace. For the broader policy that governs what we collect and how long we keep it, see our Privacy Policy.

1. Revoke a Google integration

You can disconnect a Google integration from either side — Google or ANTE — and the effect is the same: ANTE loses access immediately, and we purge stored Google-sourced data within 30 days.

1a. From Google (one click, works everywhere)

  1. Open https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  2. Find ANTE in the list of third-party apps with account access.
  3. Click Remove Access.

Google revokes our OAuth tokens immediately. The next time ANTE tries to use the integration it will fail; our background job purges the related cached metadata within 30 days.

1b. From inside ANTE

Sign in to your ANTE workspace and go to Settings → Integrations. Find the Google service you connected (Gmail, Drive, or Calendar), and click Disconnect. ANTE invalidates the stored tokens, calls Google's revoke endpoint, and removes the cached metadata.

2. Delete your entire ANTE account and workspace

Workspace administrators can request full deletion at any time. To start the process:

  1. Email privacy@ante.work from the email address registered to your workspace.
  2. Use the subject line Account deletion request.
  3. Include the workspace name (or domain prefix) so we can locate the right tenant.

We will confirm the request within 5 business days, acknowledge completion within 30 days, and complete physical deletion across all live and backup systems within 60 days. If you need a data export before deletion, request one in the same email.

3. What we delete

  • Your ANTE account profile (name, email, password hash, sessions).
  • All workspace data you entered: employees, payroll, projects, customers, invoices, attendance records, files, and similar.
  • OAuth tokens for any connected Google service (Sign-In, Gmail, Drive, Calendar).
  • Cached Gmail metadata (message IDs, thread IDs, subject lines) created by ANTE.
  • Drive file references (file IDs and basic metadata) stored against ANTE records.
  • Mirrored Google Calendar events created or synced by ANTE.
  • Notifications, audit logs scoped to the workspace, and uploaded attachments.

4. What is retained

  • Aggregated, fully anonymized analytics that cannot be linked back to you or your workspace.
  • Legal and financial records we are required to keep under Philippine law (e.g., invoices and receipts under accounting-record retention rules — typically 10 years).
  • Operational logs needed for security, fraud prevention, and audit, retained for the minimum period required.

5. Files in your own Google Drive or Gmail

Disconnecting an integration removes ANTE's access — it does not delete files in your Drive or messages in your Gmail. Those remain under your control in your Google account. Use Google's own tools to delete data that lives in Google's systems.
